TXT - Slovak Association of Textile Artists TXT announces the theme of the 22nd International Mini Textile Exhibition

BUBBLES

The exhibition is open to professional artists of all disciplines as well as art school students. We expect works with a subjective or objective interpretation and an understandable theme. Works that respect the criteria of textile miniature and emphasize its original starting points - textile techniques or materials. Overlaps with other artistic disciplines and combinations with non-textile materials that will enrich the artistic intentions are welcome. To ensure a high standard and an unbiased evaluation, a jury of experts will determine whose works will be on show at the group exhibition in Galéria Umelka in Bratislava, Slovakia.

We believe that the textile miniature is a great medium to express yourself even at this extraordinary difficult time, and we are looking forward to all the submitted works.

Entries open: January 15, 2022
Entries close: May 13th, 2022
Selected artists will be notified by June 30, 2022
Artwork delivery: by August 15, 2000 - via post, the weight must not exceed 2 kg
Exhibition opening: August 23, 2022

Technical requirements:
Maximum work size 20 x 20 x 20 cm
(Artworks must not have any special construction or framing)

Fees: Selected artists only Participation fee 15 € Return of Artworks 20 €
